Sijin Zhang is a Senior Data Scientist with the Data Science and AI team.

About

Sijin Zhang holds a PhD in Physics with a focus on Variational Data Assimilation from the University of Auckland and has worked as a scientist at the Centre for Climate Research Singapore, MetService (NZ), and the Ministry of Transport (NZ) since early 2014. He joined ESR in May 2023 and he has interests in the AI applications in public health, social and environmental issues, and climate change.
