Summary

In this report, data for 2009 to 2016 is based on IPD case notifications from a secure webbased portal onto a computerised database (EpiSurv), supplemented with serotype and antimicrobial susceptibility data from ESR’s national laboratory-based surveillance of invasive S. pneumoniae isolates.
