She works closely with iwi, hapū, Māori organisations, and government agencies to drive Māori aspirations in science, innovation, technology, and environmental sustainability. Why she is passionate to work in the space: Georgina is deeply passionate about applying a kaupapa Māori lens to projects, programmes, and platforms within the science, innovation, and technology sectors. Her commitment stems from her belief in supporting and protecting mātauranga-a-hapū and mātauranga-a-iwi. She is dedicated to delivering outcomes that respect and uplift Māori knowledge and practices, ensuring they are integral to advancements in science and technology.
