Quentin Hix has many years' experience in governance roles across a broad range of sectors. He is currently a director of Dunedin City Holdings Limited, the commercial arm of the Dunedin City Council and a board member of Presbyterian Support South Canterbury.
Previous roles include being a director of Ngāi Tahu Holdings Limited, a member of the main governance board for Ngāi Tahu; chairing Westland Holdings Limited, Ngāti Manawa Limited and Trust Aoraki Limited as well as being a director of Hunter Downs Water Limited and holding a ministerial appointment to the South Canterbury District Health Board. Quentin is a chartered fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
Quentin is a lawyer practicing in a broad range of areas. He currently practices mostly in the field of criminal law.
