Dr Helen Darling
Dr Helen Darling graduated with a PhD in Public Health from the Dunedin School of Medicine, University of Otago and has founded three companies that work in the area of food integrity including a tech start-up, that is using artificial intelligence and social media to address food safety issues in the US.
Dr. Darling continues to work in the area of commercialisation of food integrity services and is particularly interested in the application of technology to enhance global food supply chains. In addition to industry and business knowledge, she has over 20 years' governance experience; she is currently Vice Chair of the United States Pharmacopeial (USP) Convention Food Ingredients Expert Committee and on the USP’s Food Adulteration Expert Panel. She is the Chair of the People, Performance and Remuneration Committee.
