ESR is proud to have received Toitū Carbonreduce Certification, a testament to the remarkable work that has gone into embedding sustainability into our science.
The certification recognises ESR has gone through an independent verification process for our carbon emissions footprint, to ensure it is complete, accurate and up to an international standard. It further confirms ESR is measuring, managing and actively reducing our carbon emissions according to Toitū requirements.
The Toitū accreditation confirms ESR’s greenhouse gas emissions have been measured to the ISO 14064-1:2018 global standard. The certification allows ESR to create meaningful goals to further reduce carbon emissions.
Toitū’s endorsement is further evidence of ESR’s ambition to connect our actions with outcomes. We are committed to science that not only empowering communities to thrive and prosper, but that is is delivered in a way that protects the planet and its people. This is important for us as an organisation, as we ask ourselves and our clients to measure and consider practical steps to reduce environmental impacts and carbon emissions and disclose these results in a public forum.
While attaining Toitū Carbonreduce certification is a key milestone on our journey, ESR is committed to continuous work to meet its sustainability priorities.
