ESR says a further seven cases of measles have been confirmed in the past week, bringing the New Zealand total so far in 2019 to 221.

In the week ended 21 June, there were five new cases in the Counties Manukau District Health Board area, and one more case in each of Auckland and Waitemata. There have been no new outbreaks of the infection in recent weeks.
