Staff in ESR’s Environmental Science Group have a broad mix of skills and expertise that enable the group to investigate food in a cross-disciplinary manner and design specialist solutions for clients with food safety issues.

Our expertise includes chemical, microbiological and physical hazard identification and risk assessment; food contaminant and residue analysis and interpretation, including compliance with regulations and standards; investigation of natural food components influencing health and disease; testing foods implicated in food poisonings and complaints; and investigation of food-borne illness outbreaks.
