Urinalysis is carried out for drugs that can cause impairment.
Our standard suite of drug classes for drug and alcohol free workplace programmes includes:
- cannabinoids (marijuana, hashish, hash oil)
- amphetamine type substances (ecstasy, P, speed, benzylpiperazine (BZP))
- opiates (heroin, morphine, codeine)
- cocaine
- benzodiazepines (valium, rivotril)
Other drugs
Some drug and alcohol free workplace programmes also include other drugs such as methadone, barbituates, methaqualone, propoxyphene and PCP. Other drugs, such as LSD, can also be tested for if requested.
Solvents
Solvents and other substances, which are not normally included in a drug and alcohol free workplace programme, can be tested for at the request of the company.
