The Wairarapa Case Study summarised perspectives and ideas about water uses and values in the Wairarapa region, identified through interviews with Wairarapa residents in March 2009. Interviewees included farmers, district council staff and mayors, non-government organisations, industry representatives, iwi, recreational advocates, and resource management consultants.
The report, for the Wairarapa Regional Irrigation Trust, provides a snapshot in time that indicates the range of issues that were relevant to interviewees and that may be important to others within the region.
