Climate Change and Sustainability Science – an STS perspective

A New Zealand APSTSN Workshop organised by ESR and Landcare Research with the support of the Climate Change Research Institute, School of Government, VUW

Monday 8 March 2010, James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor, The Terrace, Wellington, 8.30am-4.00pm

This event explored trends in climate change research through the lens of ‘Science, Technology and Society’ (STS) studies. It offered an opportunity for critical reflection on the wider New Zealand climate change research agenda, and the implications for future directions in science, including transdisciplinary research and sustainability science.

We were also intererested in highlighting the importance of social science to climate change analysis and policy.
